Not a hipster IME, but I'm sure there are a bunch.
I've found that a lot of "old souls" are those that don't fit in with the "class" their parents or whatnot thought they should. They break out from what was expected of them.
It's from the phrase "old souls tend to find each other" and I'll go ahead and say I probably qualify (take that whatever way you want).

In her mind, she views herself as liking things, having taste for and possessing a personality that are older than her stated age. In my experience, it is sometimes true and in other cases the person is just crazy.
She might like Etta James or Bob Dylan, might have a jungle between her legs and under her arms or be into macrame......again, she could just be crazy.

Haha Dang it Dennis. It just means she's probably not into alot of the things people her age are.
My gf is example. Typically you hear this from girls who were WILD in college.
In college my gf got all that dick in her and partying out of her system. So, since age 23, she's been what you call an "old soul". She would rather be chilling on the couch with wine and a movie on a Friday night than wandering around drunk downtown like other 23-30 yr olds.
It also pertains to hobbies outside of drinking. She might prefer a book to movie theaters, walking instead of going play disc golf. And so on. She's an 'old soul'. it's rather easy to figure out. Nothing to do with fricking.
