I didn't think the thread could get much worse for the OP..... But here we are.

I’ve never had a thread break down to the ‘wife’s a whore’ level before.

How about just post what the eff happened? But again, even if you did that in the first post, I wouldn't give 2 shites about it. Life is hard.......it kills everyone eventually.

Being a parent and looking to an internet forum from advice tells me your Kid has little hope of a normal life.

Sorry for your challenges.....not really

I went to the doctor the other day.. He came in and said "OweO! I got some bad news for you. You are not going to make it out of this world alive".

A lot of life is about perspective. Change that and you change a lot.

Very true words there big tuna.

IMHO - if life was fair it would mean God would immediately punish the wrong. All people would end up being "good" from fear of punishment. You would end up with a world of "good" people with little free will. And they would believing being good was the ultimate goal and end up in hell.

We took him for a long ride, then to dinner, then all watched a scary movie...he seems to be taking it in stride.

We talked about it at dinner, he’s most upset about not seeing what game day is for both the away game yesterday and the home game this week. So many unknowns...that’ll stay unknowns for now.

It’s not that life overall isn’t fair. There are certainly moments in your life that are very unfair but there are also blessings you have that you never “earned” or rewards that you receive in life that feel so very fortunate. Use the unfair moments to motivate you rather than discourage you.

I wise man once said “block the bad, harness the good. Life’s a circle. It’s circular”

I'd tell him not to act like he was affected at all around his friends. Like he was still the king of the world. "Be the most positive kid around, even if its just an "act". Eventually if he does it long enough, he will believe it himself. Never let anyone know they got under your skin.

Really depends on how unfair you’re talking. Did he/she lose a ballgame, dog die or is the kid really facing horrible circumstances?

One must experience the agony of defeat in order to enjoy and appreciate the thrill of victory.

Whaaaaa. Junior high football? There are people with actual problems in the world. Explain a few real problems to Jr so he stops crying about kicker issues.

I've read some real clunker threads here on the OT, but this is next level.

Your kid should get over the disappointment of the not kicking thing quickly and move on to life-long disappointment of having you as a father.

This thread is stupid af and you're acting like a little bitch.

You got your attention you craved, are you happy now? Hopefully, your son grows up to be different than you.
