Nice place? Looking at a job there. Looks like it's quite a ways from anywhere nice.

What in the world is in Greenville?
If you aren't wanting the fast life of DFW. That seems like the median between that and redneck East Texas.

In the early 1900s, Greenville was known as the “Textile Center of the World.”

My family had a cattle ranch there till I was in fourth grade. We sold it and bought another ranch in Marshall. So I probably can’t tell you that much about it. I know Audie Murphy is from the area.
Seriously though, there isn’t that much in Greenville. It’s close enough to Dallas but far enough away to not deal with it.

Close to everything in DFW without being in the mix of DFW. Might be pleasant.

The suburbs towards Greenville such as Rockwall and Wylie are exploding. Greenville is well outside Dallas, but it isn’t that far from one of the fastest growing areas of the country.

L3?
Greenville is ok. Like most people have said, it’s outside the Dallas suburbs, but not much to do there.
I live in Rockwall. I know several people that work in Greenville but live in Rockwall/Royse City/Heath/Wylie.

I worked there for 2 years. What do you wanna know? It’s a pretty basic east Texas small town.

I think there’s a Greenville in every state in the south but LA.

It’s just under an hour to Dallas. 20 to Royse city which is growing. About 30-35 to rockwall which is your first legit suburb.
Traffic between rockwall/Royse city is pretty non existent.

Do this and commute. Much better schools and more things to do nearby.

I live close to Greenville Ave in Dallas if that helps.

Also Greenville is dry so a liquor store is 15+ minutes away. An actual liquor store you’d want to shop at is just outside rockwall so almost 30 minutes away.

It was a dry county when I was there in the early 90s.
