Bought my truck there, they got some real nice people at the local ford dealer.

It's not dry. They serve in bars and restaurants, but the last time I was there, you still had to go outside of town to find a liquor store if you wanted something at home. There's one about five miles outside of town.
It's a typical Texas small town. A few local joints, lots of fast food and Mexican places. Some fast casual sit down places since it's on the interstate.
You're close to Rockwall and the lake there, so that's convenient. If you prefer a less developed lake, there's a closer one south of town. Can't remember the name.

I’m talking about one with a huge selection. I assume you mean black jack in cumby, but Sigel’s is much better. Rowlett is ideal though.

Lake Tawakoni. Go to Quinlan and turn left (east). You're also not too far from Lake Fork.
