Had a similar situation couple years back at Bally's when some douche took about 18 45s (basically all of them from the bench press area) for hack squats by glass front

If he was actually doing it in a squat rack that's pretty legit and you should have shut up and marveled.

If he was on anything other than the leg press that's actually still pretty amazing.

If proper form...you're pretty cockstrong for 175lb guy.

I'm limited to what I can and cant do. Dislocated shoulders, almost completely torn acl&mcl, tendon damage from airbag deploying, messed up disc...the list goes on.

Actually I think it was leg press. Either way, not impressed when he's not going deep AND taking forever.

Alright, leg press is stupid. Made me look up some videos to see what that would even be like though. So crazy

Had a guy hogging a bench one time. He would do a set, then sit there for about five minutes before he did another.

Once he got up to fill his water bottle, I took over the bench. He came back and said, "hey I was still using that!" I just looked at him and said, "you got up", and then I continued to workout.

Frick those punks that take their dear sweet time with equipment. Do your 3-6 sets, and get the F out of the way!

He used to come lift in Monroe at my old gym when he and his woman would roll through town. It was sick what he would lift. His name should not really be associated in this thread.

Been there. I walked up to his pile and said "bro, seriously?. I'm going to take these 25's (or whatever they were) get my set and bring them back. thanks."

When men lift heavy weights they often require a rest between sets.

Did you think to ask him to work in? Or just hide and wait for him to get water and snake the bench?

You seem like a douche.

I do heavy weights, and I never take more than about a minute to rest. This guy was doing like 135 lbs.

And no, I wasn't hiding from jack sh@t. Yeah, I asked him how much longer he would be after 15 freakin minutes! If you leave the station, you forfeit that area.

I bet you're one of the little punks that I'm talking about.

Buying weights is cheaper than gym memberships in the long run, just sayin'

Yes, over the last 5 years, I've spent over $3k on gym memberships alone. I will invest about $1k and get a pretty decent olympic weight setup and good range of dumbells and be done with the gym once and for all.
