What do you consider sex addiction to be?

We have a large group that gets together a few times per month to have dinner and just about every topic under the sun comes up at some point.
This week it was sex addiction.
I consider someone to have a problem when sex/porn/whatever starts to interfere with their day to day life.
One guy in the group slays pussy. I'm talking 3 girls in a single weekend type of slaying. He is very healthy physically and appears to be emotionally as well. He has a great career and life and does not seem to struggle in any aspect.
The group was of the opinion that this guy has a sex addiction while a few of us just thinks he is living every man's fantasy and is completely normal.
Other than this dinner group, I only knew of one other group of social degenerates I could ask, so here I am.
What do you think? Does the guy have a sex addiction or not?

Do you think he was forthcoming about how it affects him internally? Does he go through cycles of excitement, drive, ecstasy followed by shame and guilt?

I dated one. She wanted it five, six, seven times a day....every day. If I didn't give it to her, she'd get angry, throw a temper tantrum, and go handle it herself. She was definitely a sex addict.
I have a friend that does very well. We went out of town once, and he nailed three girls in a single night, then another the next night. Wouldn't consider him an addict, and wouldn't consider your buddy one either

I know someone that has been a dog his whole like. Cheated on gf and now I know for a fact he cheats on his wife.im not even sure tha this issue is sexual, I think it’s evolved to something else.
