re: What do you consider sex addiction to be?

I guess my definition is kind of shaped by a discussion i had with a friend who was a nurse at the state psychiatric facility in Columbia, SC

He said they had a unit on the female side with clinically diagnosed nymphomaniacs. He said they werent allowed to have anything in there rooms or EVER close their doors. That if any of them ever got access to a hairbrush, a drumstick from dinner, magic marker, a regular type chair with legs on it, anything, that they 100% would get caught pounding the hell out of their vag with it

That and they had to work their way up to outside privileges. Out in the yard there surrounded by 10ft chain link and barb wire. And even after theyd been in therapy for months to get privileges they would still get caught out there all the time trying to back up to the fence to let some bum or homeless dude hit it (Bull Street is a super shitty side of town). But this was roughly 20yrs ago i knew this guy so they very well may take different precautions now

Anyway, that completely redefined for me what sex addiction really is. Its not just really, really liking sex alot. Its a disgusting affliction thats as overpowering as crack or heroin addiction for people who suffer with it
