re: What do y'all baws think you'll see in your lifetime

I’m 47. Based on the lifespan of past male relatives in my family, I expect to make it to the 78-83 year old time frame.

I expect to see regular commercial sub-orbital international airline flights. I’d like to see the darkness of space and the curvature of the Earth below me, and experience weightlessness before I kick it.

People aren't seeing how Space X can be used for terrestrial transportation. It's going to be expensive but going to Australia in just a few hours would be cool.
Now, think about how the military can transport equipment around the earth in just hours.

I am one year behind you.

> Moon colony - probably more of a scientific outpost where people come and go, like the International Space Station. When I think of a colony, I think of a place where people live full time. I don't think we'll see people living full time on the Moon within the next 15 years.

My prediction is darker - the US will become much more divided upon economic lines.

The rich will get richer.

The poor will get poorer.

The middle class will greatly diminsh.

Property values will tank. If you own property, you'll be stuck living there forever unless you sell out to a corporation or let it go back to the bank.

There will be a lot more civil unrest.
