I'll go first: 67 yo, hoping for 15 more orbits around the sun:
> Moon colony
> Commercial nuclear fusion
> Majority of cars will be self driving.
> Possible transition from internal combustion to electric transportation.
What else ya got???

College football completely destroyed. It’s going that direction. Most die hard fans are just still doing it because it’s engrained in them and they feel like it’s a must. The product is complete trash. I give it 8-10 more years before it’s an afterthought like minor league baseball.

Huge societal upheaval on a global scale secondary to massive global economic downturn on par with the Great Depression.
Will be interesting to see what comes after.
38 years old and would hope to live another 50 years.

Younger generations are caring less and less about all sports.
Gambling may be the thread that keeps them tied to it.
Will be interesting to see what happens in the coming years.

The product has never been better. The drama and off the field news is what is crazy.

A Muslim VP. I’m 65.

Games are 4+ hours, NIL, portals, etc.
The off field drama is more interesting than the product. I can’t remember the last time I watched a complete game. They should just go the professional wrestling route.

In PCB right now with the boys for our fantasy draft. I have started ignoring any news and just not reading it besides what I see on here.
I just don’t post as much or read the topics.
Found a woman I love. Really ‘living’ I feel like currently. So many people I feel like I care about in my life. Both parents still alive. Sister has her third kid on the way with her high school sweetheart. We all went to HS together. Great man.
Feel like this is probably the ‘prime’. Trying to soak it in.
Hope to see many more of these weekends.

The good
Breakthroughs in major diseases, including cancer and alzheimers. Maybe not cures, but allowing them to be chronic, manageable diseases like diabetes.
Fusion.
New materials with properties we can't even dream of now.
The bad;
Major upheavals as AI transforms industry. Millions will be unemployed and unemployable. Some kind of universal income will be necessary.
Global birthrates will continue to decline and accelerate. Fewer demands on resources, but aging societies will have their own problems. We see the beginnings of this in our gerontocracy political class.

Unfortunately, I think I will continue to see the declining influence of the white man in the United States and be called racist and mysoginistic and oppressive by women and minorities who would living centuries (if not millennia) behind modern standards if they had been left to their own devices.

43… wanna live til at least 44…
..would love to live long enough to ride in a flying taxi, have a food maker that you just scroll a menu and press a button, and teleport to hang out with my great grandkids.
What’ll probably happen… I’ll have my chikalay drone delivered for the first time, choke on a waffle fry and croak.

No thanks. We’ve already had a Muslim president and that was an unmitigated disaster.

Maybe 35 more years in me.
I’ll either see Christ in the clouds or people vanishing around me.
