Modern women live in their masculine energy. No one benefits from it.

I’m married. I got lucky.
No way in hell I would get married these days.
A woman can swipe left and get laid. They start getting attention from some internet simp. decide they are not happy and take all your shite and kids . You end up paying for some other a-hole to live in your house and do your ex.
No it’s not worth it anymore. The world has changed too much.

Actually I did see a video the other day now that I think of it where some lady was complaining bc she was having to put gas in her car instead of her husband. Have I been doing this incorrectly my whole life??? My mom did it for me until I was 18 and then I just took if from there, was I supposed to give that job back over to a guy at some point???

I wouldn’t say you’re doing it wrong, If you and your SO decide that “I take care of things pertaining to me and you do likewise”, and that works, then like you said, that’s all that matters.

But it’s pretty common for one person in a marriage to have strengths/interests that the other doesn’t, and if marriage is really about being one, I just don’t think “who the task is for” matters all that much. Whether it’s for me or my wife, it simply needs to be done. If her car needs to be washed, we need to get it washed. Doesn’t matter if I do that specifically and she does something else or vice versa. Same with appointments or buying underwear or whatever.

I keep my wife’s car full of gas, not because she asks but because I know she hates doing it. I take it to the station, in the evening, on Mondays and Thursdays for a fill up.

Well the incels on the board are in desperate need of female attention and the women on the board just cant wait to give it to them. Fourplay for both sides.

Win win.

I guess y'all's idea of division of labor is just different.

We never discussed it, it just kind of fell into place. We take care of our own laundry and random kitchen messes but there's some things that one of us just always takes care of.

People who have children together should be married and live in the same home.

Young men who are from non intact families are more likely to end up in jail than graduate college.

Her commute is 25 miles each way. It is usually a little under a half tank when I fill it up. On weekends we use her car for grocery shopping and to go to church. We usually take my truck if we go out or something.

This is me now with hybrid WFH part of the week and in the office a couple days 5 minutes up the road. With other errands and things in between.

6 years ago when I was having to commute across the country into Louisville downtown for work, it was filling up twice a week. It was about 20 miles from front door to work but traveling I-64, it wasn't uncommon to hit traffic and that commute turn into an hour instead of 20 minutes.

How do you come on a board and on your 5th post you are talking about incels and female attention?

Just go away.

Let’s say like many of them nowadays she is more into her job than being domestic. But you don’t really need her income to get by or do well.

Seems like as a couple they would be plush enough with money to pay some one to do "domestic" stuff, like a lot of the couples I know.

what exactly do you want on the table?

If a supportive partner with a good job isn't what you want, there's really nothing wrong with just choosing to be single until you find the diamond in the rough that does whatever domestic stuff you like.

I can only speak for myself, but here goes:

1) I gave my husband 3 children, helped educate and to raise them
2) I'm his confidant. An ear to listen. Consolation when required
3) I have given him damn fine stock/real estate tips
4) I'm backoffice support, run his errands, let in repair people
5) Hot meal every night
6) My career was his fall back during the many starts/stalls on way to success
7) I like to think I make him a better person. I can be 100% honest with him

and last, but not least:

8) I provide hair removal and mole checking services in very private areas
