re: What do modern women bring to a relationships with men?

I don't want to sound like a misogynist but about half of the women out there these days offer zero value (but the same goes for men as well). My wife was a diamond but most of the women I met before her either had zero career prospects, were overweight, had piercings/tattoos, were degenerates of some kind, or had lots of baggage (single moms).

I think there's a certain percentage of men in America that aren't really incels per se but can't get the top 30% of women so they just don't bother with dating at all. It's better to stay single or date foreign women than it is to date an overweight incompetent modern American woman that doesn't bring anything to the table.

I don't think the traditional roles would change that diagnosis issue as much as access. If that "traditional society" doesn't permit/support mental health, then you'll have less people (not just women) with mental health diagnoses based on nothing more than lower volume of seeking out treatment.

Women seek out mental health treatment more than men.

More urbane, "socially advanced" types seek out mental health treatment more than rural, traditional culture types.

That dynamic is going to track the liberal v. conservative v. MAGA stratifications as well.

It's like why we have more autism diagnoses these days. You expand the definition of autism and train people to see the signs and you'll get more diagnoses. It's the typical "cast a bigger net and catch more fish" paradigm.

Find the right women is the only advice.

Yeah I understand there are a ton of toxic women out there and believe me, my struggles were documented on here in real time for almost 15 years, but a big problem with a lot of these men complaining is a complete lack of self awareness and, more importantly, comprehension of what you project to others (especially mates).

If you project yourself as a "strong, independent man who is fine on his own' then what the women you're courting see is a man who doesn't need her to be domestic, doesn't need to be supportive, who can also be independent and not need his income, etc. They see that as a perfect coupling scenario.

If you're a man projecting that aura/energy but are really a needy person who wants to be taken care of by a substitute mother, you're going to find a lot of conflict in your mate options. You'll have to find a women who's deluding herself in the mirror scenario to make it work, which I am sure does happen in society today.

I have two friends from college who decided in their late 30's they wanted to live the Sex and the City lifestyle and called off their marriages. The one with a kid didn't really destroy her family, though, and is still a good mom to her son.

The men I have seen that are truly ranting about what “modern women bring” often want women to fill traditional roles but don’t hold themselves to the same standard. They want a woman who will give up her career to raise children at home and manage the housework but they don’t make enough to survive on one income and are upset about having dependents. Or they want a woman who is fit even after having a child but they make no effort themselves physically. Or they want intimacy but shite talk their girlfriend/women at every turn, sometimes even to their faces.

It’s literal screaming that they’re getting wet while it’s raining but refusing to carry an umbrella.
