Luck, I suppose. Traveled some last year, didn't avoid gatherings, worked in the office.

I may have had it…no clue actually.
Pretty good immune system and I generally hate being near people.
So, if I haven’t had it…probably that.

While theres still much we don't know about transmission - and I know that's a tough pill to swallow for the 'common sense' crowd - mostly I'd argue its because I live in an neighborhood that cared in a city that cared.
I.e., didnt fight masks and vaccines like gorillas, changed simple behaviors, actually quarantined when exposed.
My guess is it's not really hard to explain most of the time. My parents both got it because they were workings in schools in an area (Northshore) that largely ignored the risks until recently. It's behavioral science on large and small scales. I also didn't have to work in proximity to that type of person.

Airline pilot here. I’ve flown all over the country and Mexico for the whole time this damn pandemic has been going on and have yet to catch it.
Just plain luck is all I can figure. I am O+ thought, but don’t know if if that has anything to do with it.

Vaccine
I wear a mask at work all day long. Only take off if I’ll gonna not be within 6-10 feet of my coworkers.
Wash my hands like crazy now
I wore a proper mask when I went out in public that offered more protection than a cloth mask. Also still kept my distance from others. Started wearing a good proper mask again in certain settings (grocery store, etc).
Stopped going in person to church (let’s be honest….that crowd is mostly unvaccinated “muh freedom” types and think Jesus will keep them healthy so likely a cesspool of COVID)
Have yet to get it, neither have the other infection control nurses I work with that follow the same as me

I lucked into O+
I am wise so I got the Moderna vaccination
I am wise so I’m in OT-baller type shape
I have avoided a good bit of close contact (other than with a few of y’all’s moms)
I have been fortunate (in general) throughout my life, maybe continuing the trend

According to the media and false positives gazillions of people have had it and are “asymptotic”. Last time I was sick was 2019. I do nothing to protect myself against the Greatest Virus of all time.
