My parents both had degrees, both of my siblings have degrees and all of my parent's grandchildren have degrees. I'm the only one in my family in 3 generations with no degree. I make the most money of all of them and have worked the longest at my job (38years). I don't see the need for a degree now. I have a nice termite certificate though.

FTR, frick everything about being a Principal in this day and age depending on where you work. I work with one that got "demoted" to an AP because she got stuck at a school out of the gate that was persistently low achieving and had no chance in hell with the area she pulled to get up to benchmark. She's apparently a hell of a lot happier now.
