right.....all BS aside, that school is a rockstar compared to LSU academically. AND, the alumni take care of each other where LSU grads could give two shits about another LSU alum. Fact.

They are easy to make fun of, but, as a parent, I'd love it if my twins can get in. Very supportive environment.

Should've technically not gotten accepted to UGA, but found a way around it. If I hadn't gone there, I would've gone to Indiana.

I don't think that's the case. I think that A&M grads are in much better positions to take care of their own.

That said, no alumni group is tight as Notre Dame's. A&M can keep their class rings and secret handshakes, it isn't on the same level as Notre Dame. That is one of the most inclusive, tight-knit groups I've ever seen.

....when did ND get pulled in?

I would agree with the A&M base being more successful. BUT, my experiences are LSU grads are happy to chat football but when it comes to anything beyond idle chatter, they are light on the follow through.

LSU, 2 NAIA schools to pay too much money just to say I played a college sport

it worked out for the best, though.

I suppose, but I think it would have been a very similar experience. It was way cheaper for me to go to lsu, so the decision was pretty easy.

The "im not very smart" comment was referencing the quality of schools i was considering, not picking lsu over ole miss.

I have no idea. I was offered a partial based on test results. I never went and looked at the school.

I only submitted an application to Texas Tech and was accepted. Never really considered going anywhere else.

Rhodes College ... actually attended for a semester and transferred to LSU.

As someone mentioned, D3 football wasn’t going to be my college experience.
