What changes would you make to the curicculum for the Accounting Degree at LSU?

I recently graduated from LSU, and I feel the curicculum is due an update.
I’m pretty critical, but I feel that the degree could be much more valuable with some simple changes. The changes would also help accounting students be much more prepared for the business world and CPA.
REMOVE:
MGMT 3830 (Strategic Management)- bullshite class and a waste of time. I dont need to spend a semester to learn a bunch of useless overused buzzwords.
Id also want to remove MGMT 3200 and MKT 3401. Also bullshite classes that provide nothing of value to the student. I know many will probably disagree with me on this though.
CONSOLIDATE:
ECON - 2 econs is plenty for accounting. The only concepts I really ever used from my econ courses were NPV and time value of money. (There are currently 3 required)
1 ISDS for Microsoft Suite
1 ISDS for Statistics
1 ISDS for Advanced Excel/Tableau/Power BI/etc.
(There are currently 4 ISDS having 2 pretty much dedicated to Microsoft Suite).
It’s embarrasing how most students have no clue how to use vlookup/macros/pivot tables. It’s briefly taught in AIS for accounting majors, but it definitely needs more focus in all business degrees.
ADD:
BLAW 4203 (Commercial Transactions) - very useful class for accounting majors who plan on taking the CPA. It’s a required course to sit for the CPA in louisiana, yet it’s not required tor the major.
Restructure Intermediate to be 3 classes instead of 2. The main reason these classes are so difficult is because there is an absurd amount of information for each one. Splitting it into 3 different classes would help students in my opinion.
An additional 4000 Level Accounting Elective: Possibly Advanced Accounting, Income Tax II, or Governmental Accounting

Less over complicated shite they’ll never use. More basic things like why balancing a checkbook is important and how interest works.
A few students learn those things in Econ but everyone else misses out on these important life lessons. I feel like any field of study involving $ has an obligation to include even a basic overview of real life stuff.

Good suggestions.
They should get rid of science requirements and put in
How to have a personality.
Understanding you will work for Finance & Econ majors.

The harsh truth of it is once you get your CPA, nobody cares about your degree.

As many data/analysis/systems/technology classes as possible. Add a consulting class too if you want.

How do you know you won't use those "useless" classes in the future?

This is what you’d change about the curriculum for an accounting degree?

Less econ and finance classes taught by foreign fationals that don't speak English

I'm guessing we should be teaching engineers basic long division too?

College in general needs to be overhauled. The first two years of joke courses are nothing but a time and money suck for students. It would be nice to see more of the major curriculum than what they give you.

ADD: order dinner for your audit team, very practical skill
ADD: Lab type course where you come up with inane controls that accomplish nothing to burden your clients with

Universities aren’t trade schools. Go take a bookkeeping course at the community college if the core curriculum courses are too much of a hassle for you

MBA is not a masters it's just two more years of school.
Change my mind.

Add:
- How to carry 6 Starbucks Grande coffees for your audit team.
- Footing the phone book 101.
- How to annoy your clients by making them take the same screen shot of a process that hasn't changed in 9 years.
