That video was from the Middle East if I'm thinking of what you're referring to.

Glen Frey - He died a few months later, but I watched The Eagles’ last concert with GF in Bossier City.
Merle Haggard - GOAT country singer. Got to see him thrice.
Chris Cornell - Saw Soundgarden at the Beale Street Music fest about 10 days before he committed suicide.
Chris Farley - Top 3 all-time on SNL imo.

Was a kid when Dale Earnhart died, was weird watching the next race with my dad after that.
But none have really impacted me to the point where it carried on.

The death of Don Redden messed with me pretty bad. I was in the 7th grade and had just moved away from Louisiana and was very homesick. I remember going to many basketball games and he was one of my favorites. Being extremely homesick and then having one of my sports hero's die crushed me as a kid. RIP Don!??

Derrick Thomas
His death made me vow to never be in a moving vehicle without a seat belt on again.

No celebrity dying has really had an impact although Cobain and Prince bothered me a bit.
Big fans of both, especially Prince.

The two that actually hit me we’re both radio guys. These were voices that I clicked many years listening to. I felt like I knew them after hearing years of their thoughts, humor and world views.
John Walton (Walton & Johnson) felt like loosing my dad all over again. Well not quite but it shook me a bit
And to a lesser degree
Art Bell

Cobain. Not so much him as the idea of him.
i was in high school and music was a big deal to me (still is actually). And Nirvana was a huge chunk of the soundtrack of my teen years.
