Knipex for certain hand tools. Snap-on as well for certain things. If you make your living with hand tools like I do some thing you just shouldn't skimp.

I'll disagree on Kuhl. I wore holes in their pants with the quickness doing nothing more than wearing them to the office 1-2x/week. And the snap button rather than button hole fly is bullshite.

I've been climbing in the same pair of Pranas multiple times/week for years though...those things are legit.

Fenix lights - they don’t lie about their numbers and their quality is good; I’ve never regretted spending a little extra on them.

Genuine Apple accessories - yeah they’re twice the price of similar products, but everything else seems to always have some minor annoyance with it.

Aveda hair products - started using them about 15 years ago and everything else now just feels dirty. Prepare yourself when you go to buy it though, they are proud of their stuff.

Brooks and Altra shoes - Brooks are like walking on helium clouds; Altra’s hiking shoes, with their funny shape, are the best thing I’ve ever worn on the trail.

Any restaurant with a ketchup bottle on the table is certainly skimping no matter the brand.

Lululemon. I balked at the prices initially, but everything I’ve bought for myself and daughters still looks new nearly 10 years later after literally hundreds of wears.
