Purina Bright Minds at the moment. We used to feed him Eukanuba but he won't eat it any more. He's very picky and it's hard to find something he will tolerate. If he doesnt like something he'll refuse to eat it, and sometimes he'll stop eating a dog food he used to like. He's a big Lab, and I've never seen a big doe as picky as he is.

It was what the person was feeding her when we got her. It ain't cheap but a miniature schnauzer doesn't eat THAT much.

We feed our dog Orijen. He's still on the puppy for now and loves it. It's fairly expensive, but he eats much less of it than the cheaper stuff because it has more protein, so it lasts longer. I order it, and most of his treats, from Chewy.com. They had the best prices by far, even cheaper than Amazon, and they also have free 2 day shipping. Great customer service too.

Orijen 5 fish. It's expensive but my dog has done very well on it in regard to coat, smell, poops, weight, energy, etc.
A few others mentioned are good. Science Diet isn't terrible, but understand that you're buying overpriced grocery store brand that isn't well formulated. Blue buffalo is a solid option that I tried on my pup but he didn't like it.

Started out with Blue Buffalo until I actually did some research and discovered Blue Buffalo is mostly marketing and no better than most while they keep raising their prices.
Went with Diamond Naturals lamb and rice for a long time and dog seemed to like it. Pretty reasonably priced too.
We're now using the Costco Kirkland's Nature Domain Duck formula. It's comparable to Taste of the Wild dog food and knowing how Costco works, wouldn't surprise me if it actually is made by Taste of the Wild.

Acana, Blue Buffalo, Canidae, Merrick, and Orijen are the class of the market right now.
The big thing to consider is growth rate and calcium content. Giving a large breed puppy too much calcium can cause too fast of growth and joint problems down the line. Many large breed puppy store brands are just re-bagged adult food, which is not what the dog needs. Do some research on third part websites first. If you can get away with something cheaper at any point then go for it--not all dogs need grain free.

I've been ordering Fromm and/or Taste of the Wild for awhile now and my golden responds well to them.

The grain free craze is just a fad blown up by food companies. They know people have it in their heads that grains are "bad" so that's what they using in marketing.

Tried a bunch of the premium dog foods and settled on royal canin. She has a sensitive stomach and needs bland food.

True, but no dog needs grains. I'd give mine raw chickens if it wasn't a PITA.
Mine used to eat Purina pro plan. She developed an allergy, constantly itching and licking her paws. We tried a bunch of different foods, sprayed the yard, different flea meds, etc. Gave grain free a try and it went away essentially overnight.

It was either duck or lamb I think. We mix it up within the same brand now.
