Some people are unable to have children so you shouldn’t judge.

I'm glad they're out there. My kids are going to need to befriend and old kid less millionaire who eventually leaves them everything if they want an inheritance.

There are a lot of older people who are like this that have children

Some time in their early life they were taken up into flyin saucier and their DNA was modified to make them smarter.....

.... or they are queer and can't reproduce.

I got 2 of'em. I had 3 but I picked out my 2 favorites and knocked the other one in the head.

All the older people I know, mostly people in their late 70s early 80s are still active and have friends, spend time on the web communicating with grandkids and other relatives. The few that can’t drive use Uber, and need flash, you can get groceries and every thing else delivered, this ain’t the 1950s.

I have no thought about them. I give zero fricks if others procreate or not

Man I’m late 30s and finally had my first a month ago. I’ve prayed hard for this boy and man there is absolutely nothing like being his dad. Everyday is a new day and a blessing. Best damn thing that ever happened to me

42 year old non parent here.

Ex was a decade older than me. When we married I was 31. She didn’t want kids at her age. I was okay with it. A decade later I broke it off. I was okay with that.

Never gave it a second thought until the last year. I don’t dwell on it much. When I do it’s not for long.

I’m certain at a later stage of my life I may regret not having family around to help me to wipe my own arse. But every other Thursday, when the check hits the checking account, I’m pretty MF happy.

I do what I want. When I want. I go where I want to go. When I want to go.

I’m happy. Could I be happier? Maybe. But happy is a relative, subjective term. It differs for different people.

For me? Like I said I’m pretty MF happy.

So its about money? What if you had money AND kids? Would you be happier?

I have no kids and am the same age as you. If I reach a stage in life that I am no longer self-sufficient I don't want to live anyway - whether I have kids, grandkids, whatever.

This is hilarious how quickly people jump to conclusions and/or don't read the thread replies.

I am married without kids you coconut.

No. It’s not. You took one thing I said and fixated on it. My path in this life never took me down the path of that of being a parent. I gave you an overview and none of my circumstance was driven by monetary concerns.

You almost have to try to be that bad at reading comprehension. Maybe all that time parenting meant you had to sacrifice perfecting that skill?

On a serious note…thanks for your service.

I'm not married with kids but would think that having plenty of money and at least one set of grandparents in town would help immensely with minimizing the stress of having kids.

I'm glad I had kids but I don't have anything bad to say about people who choose not to. Probably best not to have kids if you don't want them.

And sometimes people don't ever meet the right person in time or want kids and aren't able to have any.
