I don't collect minerals...

Technically I do, because they are the building blocks of rocks. But I really collect the rock.

Only sometimes do I collect the minerals. And that's if they're spectacular and I find them out and about -free.

Im a competitive bowler. (Not really what Id deem nerdy)

Im a huge lego junkie although I dont like to buy sets that make certain things. I like to buy mixed boxes to build things from scratch. (Pretty nerdy)

I also have a decent sized mineral collection. (Definitely nerdy)

We have a pet boa constrictor and plan to breed him, although I dont know if thats really what Id call "nerdy".

I have probably a disturbingly large collection of these stickers from the 70s called Wacky Packages. Silly product parodies. I still go and seek out the ones I don't have from time to time. They have a strange nostalgic essence rare that I don't get from anything else.

Solving my rubix cubes as fast as I can. When I get bored of timing myself I solve two at a time with one in each hand.

I also like to build cool stuff with Legos by myself.

Beats playing mindless games on the smartphone.

Message boards are probably my nerdiest hobby, especially football boards.

I wouldn't considering hiking or mountain biking nerdy, even though you see a lot of really nerdy people on trails here. But that probably has more to do with the local tech and aerospace sector.

I guess some of the music styles I play could be considered nerdy by modern standards. But considering most people's musical taste doesn't evolve any after high school or college, I think that's their problem.

I am one of the only non Cajuns that owns a zydecco style washboard. Though I don't own a triangle. Those things get annoying after a couple minutes.

Reading - I only buy hardcover books to read. There is nothing trashier on this planet than someone whose "library" is nothing but paperbacks.

Also, I restore old Coleman lanterns and stoves.
