Besides people posting about it on message boards.

Guys that sit on the bench for 5 minutes in between sets.

People that use two machines at once

People that use a machine and disappear on their phone or chatting and leave their weights everywhere

People that just sit and wait for you to finish a workout. Like you can do other things while waiting.

Guys who sweat like a horse and don't wipe down the machine when they're finished.

Women who put on tights but don't work out, just hit on the guys. Usually guys who also aren't working out, just hitting on the chicks.

Posting a thread about working out on the OT is stupid...posting it around (10 p.m.) makes you a D-Bag.

Thanks, Have a nice day.

Doing curls directly in front of the dumbbell rack, blocking off 10 feet of dumbbells

Circuit trainers that guard all 10 pieces of equipment they're using

I like to do super sets in my workout because it helps keep my routine as short as possible. Now, I understand that taking a break from a machine to do another lift nearby may seem like I'm finished using that machine, but if I come back to that machine after only 1 set on another machine or free weight, and you act like a selfish bitch who can't allow someone else to finish their workout or alternate between sets, then frick you. Get your arse some manners and learn to ask if someone is finished before you jump on in. It's a common curtesy that I'll abide by 99 times out of 100.

When you walk away from a machine to do another workout, you're forfeiting that machine.

3 other things that annoy the shite out of me:

The gym expert that goes around giving unsolicited advice to everyone in the gym. Whether he knows what he's talking about or not. Dude, if anyone needs some advice, I'm sure they'll ask. Just shut up until then.

The people that come in to work out and don't know what their doing. Come on, it takes 10 seconds to Google exercises. No excuse to not know what to do when you come in to the gym. Also, it's your damn fault the rest of us have to listen to the gym expert. Get your shite together.

The dudes that walk around with journals writing out how many sets and reps and what weight you lifted. Seriously? Use the scale and a measuring tape at home if you want to check results. The rest of us get tired of asking you if you're using some equipment while you sit there and write down your progress.

Rant over.

So you hate the person that tries to fix one of the things you hate. Sounds like an exact description of half this board.

No. That sounds more like an unwritten rule out of the douche bag at the gym's handbook. I have no problem with letting people workout in between sets because I'm not an a-hole. When I'm done I rack all the weights I used, wipe down whatever I happen to get sweat on, and always ask if someone who's using whatever to want to use is finished before jumping in. It's called respect.

1. Not reracking the weights when you're done with them.
2. Filling 30 bottles from the water fountain and not letting anyone else use it.
