Love Raptor from Cedar Point. Was always my favorite. I use to go to Cedar Point every year. Haven't been in probably 8 years or so but if you love coasters and haven't been to Cedar Point, you are doing it wrong.

I haven't been to an amusement park in like 8 years, but I used to love Deja Vu (doesn't exist anymore) and Acrophobia.

I didn't realize they closed son of beast. I vaguely remember them removing the loop.

Cool to see so much Cedar Point and King's Island love in this thread.

What do you guys think of the Mantis rebranding? Seems like a better alternative to tearing it down, but some are claiming it's a "new" coaster and I don't buy that.

Holy shite. I was coming post those EXACT two.

But I haven't been to many of these other parks that are famous for roller coasters.

RIP Astroworld

Texas fricking Cyclone

There was also that ancient Excalibur coaster there that was run way past its safe years. Added to the excitement. You could touch the support beams in the curves.

Agreed it is nice.

But I am still shocked to see no one has ridden the Voyage yet. The drops are unbelievable!

Huh. It was an alright coaster. For some reason, I was flexing/pushing my feet and calves towards the floor grate the entire ride. Didn't realize I was doing it and when I got off my legs were all jacked up for 20 minutes or something.

IF they aren't changing the track and its just a hanging coaster now, I don't think that really qualifies as a substantial change in my book.

Excalibur was cool because it was tucked away and easy to get on it. Astroworld was a lot of fun.

I think the rides that terrify me the most are those damn basket transports and rides like WindSeeker. I'm a no hands guy on Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster but I hold on for dear life on these.

I hated this ride

Loved son of beast the one time I went on it. Scary as hell cause while you were waiting in line you could see the entire coaster sway as cars would go over the first hill.
Beast is one of my favorites, from kings island.
Also X2 at Magic mountain, we rode it as the park was closing because the line all day was crazy
