I’ve had some really good Heinz 57 ‘s. Loyal, smart all around good dogs.

I have a male red tri toy Aussie that is awesome. the only negatives we've had is that he is a Velcro dog, meaning he likes the people he knows and it takes some time for him to warm up to new people, especially kids. He doesn't nip at all, but he will bark at new people and he herds. Our little dude is right at 1 year old and 15 pounds and he's essentially full grown. It's a shame that we are about to get him fixed, but it will help him completely mellow out I think. If anyone wants a toy Aussie pup, find a smaller female mini or toy Aussie that's not fixed and let me know. Mine is CKC registered and has done DNA testing so he's good to go. I'd probably get the pick of the litter and as long as it goes to a great home, I will give him to you. I just want my pup to get some before we cut off his cods.

Why are labs so popular if they behave so poorly?
Labs don't behave poorly, they are popular because they are wonderful dogs. They love kids, they love to play, they love water, they love to hunt, they are happy to (usually) spend times just lounging around getting hugged on. Very versatile family oriented breed.

Rescue Mutt. That's what I have now and he's the best and smartest dog I've ever owned.

We had a basset hound for 16 years. At first I was opposed to the idea, but the kids wanted it and I gave in. That was the best dog we ever had. No howling, no stink, absolutely great with other people yet very protective. I do admit I miss that dog.
What an interesting basset hound you had
Ours loves to howl, he would do it randomly to get attention. I personally think he loved to listen to himself sing
He would only piss us off in the morning when he would howl at 4 am while on his back with his feet up, big ears covering his face and eyes
Kinda hard to be mad when they look so damn sad haha
What was also funny was he could see and sense anything but he couldn't smell worth a damn. During Christmas he would take out all the presents and maybe the tree
But really for us it was the best family dog ever. He was ridiculously funny and has a great personality

If your boy is anything like my girl, which he is, chew treats get eaten up fairly quickly.

I avoid any stuffed toy. We just about have the whole collection from West Paw Design and she really likes those toys. They're nearly indestructible.
If you look at the Beef Trachea, be forewarned that the product is greasy. Doesn't smell as bad as the bull's penis (bully stick) but it is something to consider, depending on where you let your boy eat them.

yea i quit buying stuffed. but it is hard to keep my wife from buying them. Do you only have the zogoflex toys or do you have some fabric toys?
Posted on 11/14/17 at 3:48 pm to CarRamrod
Zero fabric toys. I made that mistake twice. She immediately destroyed them.
Fortunately for me, I was able to return them and get my money back.

Gotta give a +1 for goldens. Mine is literally happy to do anything as long as he is doing it with me. Sweetest boy, excellent off-leash command, loves going to the hunting camp, and is very loveable. As I type this he is sleeping at my feet.
