I call a “backpack” a booksack bc it’s a freaking booksack.

It is what it is being used for. What if there are no books and it? What if I have a change of clothes and Tennis Shoes in it and a granola bar and a frisbee?

I'm old so I still say "tin foil"!

Also when something is hard to do, I usually say it's no worse than trying to put socks on a rooster!
