What are they clearing all those woods for on Bluebonnet btwn Jefferson and Airline?

Was riding down Bluebonnet and I saw a ton of those trees being cleared out between Notoco and that Woman’s Wellness place.
Anybody know what they’re gonna build? I’m assuming it’s gonna be something commercial. Or maybe a new DSLD/DR Horton shitass neighborhood? Or are they just trying to run off all the homeless living in there?

That’s a pretty big tract of undeveloped land considering the area. I’m surprised it’s lasted this long.

The site was designed with a 100 yr storm in mind. Any flooding that occurs won’t be from this site.

Well they had a whole homeless encampment until some busy body here decided it was too much for his happy family. So he raised a stink and now they are moving them there. If you live nearby enjoy your new neighbors. They’re mostly peaceful. Mostly….

I feel sorry for you saps that will inherit this version BR in a decade or so. If you haven’t already plotted your escape ( no matter how long the eventual timeline sets up), I’d strongly advise it.

Yep. The crap they are building will be a criminal breeding ground. It looks like something out of China the apartments they are building behind the Bluebonnet Walmart.
