I started wearing them in the 90s at LSU. Yeah, they're ugly but cool and comfortable and they last 4-5 years for $100 or so. No shame
I found a pair a couple months ago on clearance at DSW for fifty bucks. Had to snatch them up.

I bought some Olukai shoes a few months ago. Love them. I wear them like boat shoes with no socks. I’ve been wearing Sperry’s my whole life and these are much more comfortable.

I have a pair of Mephisto topsiders that are the best fitting/feeling shoes I’ve ever owned.
I have a pairs of brown and black leather Cole Haan loafers with the Nike Air Heels that are outrageously comfortable too.

My husband turned me onto Hoka running shoes, hands down the most comfortable!

Adidas ultraboost. I don’t care if you like the look or not. It’s sex for the feet

How do you keep them tied? I've done everything but a knot for 2 pair of them.

Brooks Adrenaline running shoe for me. Good for correcting my supination. Brooks makes extra-wide sizes too, which I need.
Also, a pair of US Army-issued combat boots brought home to me from Iraq by my dear departed wife. Along with several books I will never part with my boots.

TIA
PS: I’ve a pair of them but still am partial to my Brooks or Avia.
I use Merrill or Danner for rougher trekking.

I referee HS soccer in GA, so shoes are a big deal for me. I wore Adidas running shoes for years and liked them, but my wife (no pics) swore I’d like the Brooks better.
She bought me a pair of Ghost 13s; hands down the best shoes I’ve ever worn. I will never referee another match in any other shoe.
