Iron Maiden- Passchendale

Winged Hussars-Sabaton

Battle of New Orleans-Johnny Horton

The Lost Battalion- Sabaton (ww1, Argonnes)

And the band played Waltzing Matilda- Eric Bogle (Gallipoli)

There are so many more. The WW1 thread got me thinking, how some artists are able to capture that moment in rhyme and rhythm. What are your favourites?

Battle Hymn of the Republic

Not a battle, but the 1812 Overture is awesome.

Battle Hymn of the Republic

I attended a funeral last week where we sang that, "God Bless America", and "I'll Fly Away."

Mr. Lon was a good man, and a Korean War Veteran.

Not what you're asking for but, I don't care. It's a battle scene with some music.

I love that piece. I close my eyes and I can see cavalry charges, bayonets clashing, rifle volleys
