Major cities....
1) Detroit - nothing real positive to say about this place.
2) Oakland - Dangerous and not a nice part of California
3) New Orleans - Sure drinking and music are fun but crime is high and because of the drinking and partying the streets are pretty dirty and smell.
Smaller Cities...
1) Shreveport-It has casinos and about nothing else.
2) Fresno - Surprisingly high gang violence. Middle of nowhere.
3) Mobile - Expect more when you are on a coast but this is just a dirty town. Not a lot to do, would plan a drive to stay in either Biloxi or Pensacola if I needed a place to stay over night on a road trip.
