Honestly, a lot of people at the Director level and up in a large corporation are making $200K after variable pay is included. It is highly reasonable to make $150K and have another $50K in variable compensation (whether bonus or RSUs).
I work for a Fortune 100 company and directors don’t make that. They make around 150k.
Senior Directors and AVPs is where the real money starts coming in at my company. You need an MBA usually to even qualify for those promotions, which I’m working on as I work full time and it sucks from a time perspective.

I’m a manager and don’t make close to 150k

Hey, Sid. $10,000,000 has 8 figures in it. You don't even have to take your shoes off to count them. 12 345 678 See?
No - he missed the analytical point you were making. You said he was worth 8 figures. THEN you said he lived like he was making $50k per year, not worth $10 million (that he was actually worth).
Sid misread that in my opinion, that you were concluding he was ultimately not worth $10 million (after saying he was worth 8 figures).

I understand that physicians and lawyers take a considerable amount of school and am not interested in going back for that period of time.
So, you want the pay, but are not willing to put in the time and effort. How self entitled of you.
99.9% chance you are a Millennial.

One guy I know boasts he once made $250k/year being an offshore welder "before going to jail".
Can anyone confirm this? He's a white trash BS artist so I highly doubt he even sniffed that much.

Believe what you want, but it’s true. Not all jobs are equal.
Westlaw is another good one, their sales guys pull $200 renewing lawyers contracts

I could name several that meet requirement 1

40 hrs/wk
But few that meet both that don’t require significant education. Several that were mentioned tend to require significant hours and/or travel plus a certain aptitude/personality.
Most successful sales people I know put in lots of time including taking calls during weekends and after hours. Often effectively acting as tech support..
The only guys I’ve personally met who generally work the hours you’re talking about with that kind of income are dentist with long established businesses and a radiologist who had moved beyond the point of being on call for emergencies at a hospital.
That’s my experience, at least.

I work around 40 HRs a week and make around $200k. I’m in sales for a company with thousands of reps and I am in the top 2% every year.

According to Lee Zurich, State Troopers can make that, and not work much at all.

We both get a pension from the military and disability through the VA.
Seeing as you make 150k per year I would be curious to know what job your disability is preventing you from working.

You need to make 200k because other people do? Live your own life baw

I work in commercial insurance, placing healthcare liability insurance, workers comp, cyber liability etc and provide risk management for hospitals and health systems. I'm somewhere in this ballpark. But you have to build up a book of business.

Ya the military percentage "disability" is pretty generous.
My dad is about 20/30 or something percent for his feet.

The VA has Several different disability levels you can be up to 100% and still work as long as it service connected disability however if you’re 100% permanently and totally disabled you cannot make more than 1500 a month taxable income. But my 150+ a year is including our pensions and disability.
The VA basically looks at you and says you’re not physically in the condition you were when you join the military if your injuries have a chance of getting better you’re not put on permanently and totally disabled, if you or injuries have no chance of getting better and you’re not able to sustain a job because of said injuries then they put you on P&T Disability. You show me a man or woman who spent 20 years in deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan who is physically and mentally the same as they were when they entered the military and I’ll show you someone that didn’t do crap during their entire career
