Macy's is just a name change. But I remember getting cookies as a kid in that place.

DH Holmes

They changed to Dillard's, or at least the one in Lafayette did. DH Holmes had the GOAT Christmas display though. Nothing else has even come close in the last 30 years.

K&B booze was the well brand at The Bengal for Drinkin' with Lincoln. I got wasted on K&B gin and vodka on many Thursdays from August 1991 to May 1993

I worked at a Blockbuster in college. I would erase the hot chicks' late fees.

2 Amigo's, in Kenner, is just like the original Pancho's. 2 of Pancho's managers opened this restaurant a few years ago.

If you're talking about the buffet, yes they are still around in Texas! Although dying a slow death.

K&B was great in the early 70's but in the late 70's and 80's it sucked. The customer service went out the window. The people that worked there couldn't give a shite about their job. I just quit going.

I remember when they would set up the toy trains and turn Howard Griffen's into a toy store. Would go make my "Wish List" after the boat parade and fireworks on the Ouachita.
