What are some of your favorite LSU secrets, mysteries, and lore?

When I was a student way back when and first made my account, there was a solid thread about some campus mysteries and secrets. Some of them weren’t even secrets, just less-traveled areas. Now that it’s several years later, I thought it would be fun to revisit.
Here’s a few:
Stadium Dorms - I never did sneak in, but it was fun walking the ramps in TS and sticking your phone inside a window and taking a picture with the flash.
Huey Long Fieldhouse - I did manage to get in there once. The drained pool was quite creepy. It’s nice to see the place being fixed up.
Tunnels - I never did any actual tunneling, but I did drop down into an opening and shine my light. If I recall, it had just rained, and the journey would have been disgusting.
Bonus: PMAC practice court dungeon. It blows my mind that it was a practice facility for a major university prior to the complex being built behind the arena. It was about as spartan as you can get.

Chance of rain in Death Valley: never.
I also heard a rumor that the 4th quarter used to be watched live

The upstairs weight room in the dungeon was laughably bad.

The hype and lore make it seem awesome. It’s not. It’s just tunnels for pipes and maintenance shite. Most of the basement tunnel entrances have been used as storage and are filled with crap.

When my dad would take us tailgating as kids in the early 90s , I remember going to the bathroom CEBA and someone had drawn a very explicit pictures with the phrase "Deep Throat" underneath it. My 8 year old friend and I were confused and intrigued, and we still laugh about it to this day.

I've heard some crazy things happen during the 4th quarter of LSU games but nobody is ever there to witness them.

I'm the one that drilled the glory holes in Middleton.

The ancestors spoke of a mystical portal in the great library's third level lavatory. It was said to transport those who entered into a new realm of euphoria.

There used to be a place to eat called “the Dungeon “ that was behind the Middleton Library. It was sorta underground and had pretty good food. Don’t know if it still exists?

They had a haunted house in the mid to late 90s in either Hatcher or Hodges. It was fantastic. I think the theater students put it on but I might be mistaken on that part.

When I was there everyone said the top floor of Kirby Smith (RIP) was haunted and that you could see a light that never went out

My brother in law stayed in them in the 60's.
He HATED them.
On GameDay, he said they were loud as hell.

Did this. When in half way across the quad then I heard voices and smelled grass.. yeah I left with the quickness.

Used to sneak in the “other” basketball court which was adjacent to the Indian Mounds. We used to play there for hours at midnight or later. Good times.
Forgot the name of the building. I believe it’s gone now. Was across the street from Graham Hall

Favorite was the old Gym Armory building circa mid 90s. The old basketball court, locker rooms, and other things basically stuck in a time warp from the 60s-70s, maybe earlier.

Big secret: always go to the 3rd or 4th floors of the buildings. Usually all offices and labs and no classrooms. Bathrooms are empty.
