Local news:

Starting salary is below the poverty line in most regions of the country.

According to the OT welders make about 700k a month. There’s gonna be some let down young baws in welding school.

My cousin is a welder and he’s making $160k with overtime. He told me at his high school graduation, “NIH, I ain’t got time for no queer liberal professors. I’m about making the big bucks.” He posts in caps lock on the rant.

Family medicine pays pretty well actually. Better than it used to and you can moon light in podunk ERs for like 300/hr

I think this depends on which type of construction. I know a few who make around $130-150K. I don’t envy the hours they work though.
