No way. I use that thing (TI-89) every day at work. Granted most people people probably don't though.

If you are in a spot where you have poor reception those options don't work that well, and it does happen. Also, it might be an old fashioned and obselete idea, but I like actually owning my own music and having a collection.
google music lets you upload 22,000 of your own songs to sync to the cloud in addition to the other music.
this way you can 'pin' music to your phone you listen to most often and there is no data issue.
this plus cloud = obsolete ipod

Most digital cameras
It kind of sucks that this is becoming true, because while cameras in phones have improved a lot, any decent point-and-shoot will still take a better photo for a user with the same competency level. But since phone photos, for their purposes, are acceptable in quality and make facebook whoring a seamless process, nobody wants to carry a separate device, so photo quality has remained stagnant or even taken a step backwards in the past 5-10 years.

I miss that spot. I used to go by there after school for a quick snack all the time. I would always sweat grease for a few days after eating those tamales though.

My Mom works at a hospital and they still use pagers. I don't get it.
I have a friend at Oak Ridge National Lab that carries a pager because there are areas there where you can't take your cell phone

Not if you don't have the storage space on your phone for such things. The iPod is far from obsolete. It's useless to some, select people, but that is all.

I see kids playing sports outside every single day in my neighborhood.
I don't understand the crotchety old man idea on here, that kids don't play anymore.
Yes they do.

ETA: Not having to carry a phone AND an iPod is worth having less storage or using the cloud instead
