Get some bose wireless ones. They’re good. I use mine for the same thing.

If you try to cut grass with headphones you’ll void the warranty.

I have worn backbeat fit to cut the grass for the past three years and can hear perfectly fine without the volume being turned all the way up.

It surely could be my ears having flown helicopters as long as I did.

What I do like is the app has a recommended level to avoid going above, if I keep the volume in this area, the safe area, cannot hear with lawnmower.

Using my third pair and after I screw up and run these over bush hogging in thick brush I will buy another set.

These are Bluetooth with active noise reduction and $60 bucks on Amazon, have not tried them, but ordered a pair just for mowing.

I have JBL audio bluetooth ear buds I wear when I cut grass. They have great sound and also drown out lawnmower noise.

The other day, I hauled in a 37 year old white male who was in violation of rule 14-3 of the HOA covenant he signed and swore to uphold which states that headphoned mowing is the act of operating a mower/zero turn with the operator's ability to do so impaired as a result of a device implanted into the orifice of the ear and is punishable by up to 1 year in prison/$10,000 fine.

I wear my over the ear Beats and I can’t hear anything outside of my music. They are expensive though, around 300 bucks.

Honestly I wear a set of Bose noise cancelling headphones. I have 2 acres and usually cut in the middle of the day and listen to talk radio or stream music.
