Florida’s legislature on Wednesday passed a bill allowing teachers to carry guns in the classroom, expanding a program launched after the deadly high school shooting in Parkland with the aim of preventing another such massacre.

Then what’s its endpoint? A wall? If so, what’s on the other side of that wall?

Let me pose an analogy that isn't mine. The surface of the Earth, two-dimensionally speaking, i.e., east/west, doesn't have an endpoint does it? That doesn't make the surface of the Earth infinite.

Expand that same basic idea to three dimensions.

How people can fall for a stupid scam every time.

For instance, earlier this week, I snuck into the office of my boss and sent this coworker an official looking email and told him to send me $1700 worth of Google gift cards. He actually fell for it.

I may try him again next week.

In that example though, the 3rd dimension makes a hell of a difference

I can wrap my head somewhat around being too lazy to actually go, but what blows my mind is the crazy percentage of people to consistently show up but skimp on squats/deadlifts. They go 5 days per week for 2.5 hour sessions, but don't do squats because they are lazy.

To expand on that.....

How the force that comes from Bernoulli's principle giving the plane lift....is withstood by what seems like flimsy wings that you can see flex when bouncing down the runway.

Yes. College, too. And? I actually understand the concepts of these systems, but don't understand why people desire them, other than jealousy and free stuff.

Space concepts and the vastness of the universe can be mind-blowing.

One locally I can't quite understand is DEJA VU. How does this work? How can I see an image or situation well before it happens? Only to realize I've already seen once before once I've seen it. But also not knowing enough to know what is coming next?
