It's nice that you think you have a say. You're gonna come home from work to pierced ears, one of these days.

Whenever Mom decides. It's a very small thing. Your daughter will have input on many other, more important decisions in her life! Let Mom be Mom.

My son asked to get one of his ears pierced, he was about 16. I laughed and said when you can support yourself you can disrespect your body. He waited until a family vacation locked himself in the bathroom (we were asleep) and pierced his ear.
My first response was to inform that he owed for his portion of the vacation- damn it

You have to admit on paper it is odd: i’ll Put holes in my daughters head so I can hang shiny things for my own benefit

My daughter asked for them a few months after she was 10.

Lmao. You are blowing this shite way out of proportion. As long as they are 6 months old it’s perfectly fine as their immune system has to be strong enough. The ENT doctor we went to does babies all the time she said. It’s better to do it when the child doesn’t know about it. My little girls don’t even know they are there so they don’t pull at them at all. All you have to do is take 1 minute out of your day to wipe the ear with an alcohol wipe for 6 weeks and that’s it. Not a big deal at all. My wife wanted them to look like cute little girls which they do.

You just proved my point with this statement.

ETA: I'm not saying ear piercings on a child is life threatening. Just an unnecessary thing that could potentially result in an unneeded infection.

But hey...your wife was more concerned about making her little girls look cute.

For someone without kids, you sure do have a lot of condescending opinions about raising children.

Your point is retarded. When you struggle for years to have kids then get your two little angels you thought you would never have Ear piercings are the least of my concern. They are not a health hazard if you have competent parents. You can disagree all you want to.

The flu is going around, don't let your kids play with other kids, unnecessary risk.

Don't let your kid swing or play in a treehouse, they may fall and break their arm, unnecessary risk.

You are a fricking idiot
