I think it would be a little weird for anyone over 40 to date an 18-20 year old, but as long as both parties are consenting adults... whatever floats their boats.

OP, when I was your age (45), my wife was 28.

I’m 41 and kinda started talking to a 22 year old that I work with. She’s sexy as hell, got a great head on her shoulders, and we were both very aware that the age gap would be a significant hurdle. While I think we both initially liked each other, we are just in two totally different places in life. We didn’t have much in common talk about. It was hard for me to not talk to her in way that was giving advice and stuff like that. I also have a niece that is only a few years younger than her and I’d want to beat the crap out of a man in his 40’s trying to date her. I think we both realized rather quickly that the age thing just was too great.
