Leaning on that to support that a sitting president has caused a spike in crime is weak, especially because you also implied that sitting local officials also caused a spike in crime.

I would say we are all getting what we deserve.
Don’t think for 1 second that the Republicans we put in high political offices are doing anything to stop this. And “we” voted for those spineless cowards who surrender at every turn.
The proverbial French had more fight in them than Republican leaders.
So, yes, at least in an indirect way, we voted for this too.

We do joke and all but many would be for this. Why should this killer live his days out in prison? Have a quick trial all the evidence is there a week later hang this guy. In texas or the south the majority would back this but in Liberal states we would get how the killer was unfairly treated in life and that he was actual a victim of the system etc...We need to start doing something because the crazies these days have no fear of what happens when they put the weapon down and surrender.
