if we woke up tomorrow and it was early 18th century North America? No roads, no government, no tech, no stores, no obamacare. I say all the OT 5's and above would be ok because some ole baw would take care of her. That only accounts for maybe 7% of the population. I think 50% would perish in the first 2 years.

I would be one of them.

I can see an absolutely hot as balls summer coming down the tracks this year. I'm too civilized and need AC.

A 5 and above out of 10 in rankings is 7% of the population? I don't think you understand how the rating system works

If you start walking in the morning you could be in coastal Northern California by mid August, before it gets really hot

This would be my heaven.... watching all the little idiots die off, and saving the hot women

I reckon I could get 3 or 4 good looking wives out of the deal

Yeah, no meds and almost 80% gone in a year here, just on that, and a simple flu outbreak could wipe out the rest....

Millions would likely starve in the first weeks. Or do food stamps still work in this world?

without modern conveniences, anarchy and clan warfare would erupt within a week...I think l5% may survive if we were lucky.

Way more than 50%. A modern population could not be supported with agricultural and other support techniques from the 18th century. People would not get enough clean water. Sanitation would be a huge issue. Google machine says that the world population was about 1/10 of what it is today. Population would probably revert back to that after a pretty short amount of time. A lot of people of people would starve and die from malnutrition and disease in a hurry. Odds are you or at least several of your family wouldn't make it either.

Well, half of China and Africa and a third of central and south America are still in the 18th century. Are we excluding them?

The vast majority of the boomers would die relatively quickly because of that. Most of the Forgotten Generation as well. Millennials would eek out an existence, but it would be fights upon fights.
