Ed was the game show host like Pat Sajak or Alex Trebek asking the questions in NO It All’s. Tommy was the announcer like Rod Roddy on the Price is Right.

For your viewing pleasure:

I will miss ole Ed.

Television in New Orleans will never be the same.
High School sports in Louisiana will suffer for a long time.
I'm sad as can be.

A gentleman on the sidelines, and behind the microphone.

Rest in peace.

Back in the day we enjoyed his sports coverage and remember him fondly.

Thanks to Gayle Benson for bringing him home.

Remember earlier in his career, he was on WDSU, who had a sports department of himself, Ro Brown, Buddy D, and Vince Marinello.

That’s the GOAT local sports department.

Hap Glaudi, Buddy Diliberto and now Ed Daniels.. Three sports personalities in the N.O. area who's tenure spanned many decades.

The 1 they won over the Vikings? That was Jim Henderson... another NOLA sports broadcasting legend

The NOLA No-Call vs. the Rams? I think that was Mike Hoss but may have been Jon Stinchcomb

That was pure emotion, you could hear the years of frustration leaving his body, almost orgasmic.
