If you’re part of a church in 2020 for reasons other than financial gain then you’re just a dipshit

Well someone asked what people thought Marxist were.

Not what Karl Marx did or didn't care about

Pretty good odds Jesus was black. I mean the Bible tells us he was born of wedlock.

The more accurate representations of what Christ and his Apostles looked like would be those very old Greek Orthodox mosaics that depicted him in a more Mediterranean hue. If you read up on the history of the area you would find that the Palestinians are a combination of several ethnic groups all fed by migation from the fertile crescent. Jesus no doubt looked a modern day Syrian/Kurd with a little Greek mixed in for good measure because that is how the people of that time looked. Palestine and Judea were much more influenced by peoples from their North and West than their South and West. For example, the Philistines on the coast of Palestine were undoubtedly a seagoing people that settled the coast most probably from Greek stock. In Jesus' time the second largest community of Jews was in Damascus to the North followed by Antioch on the coast.

In the Bible it talks of Joseph and Msry fleeing to Egypt. In that time, it meant going to Alexandria on the coast which was full of Greek and other Mediterranean types....Romans, Cathaginians (Phoenecians) . The indigenous Egyptians looked a whole lot like Nasser and Mubarek. The black Kush were more prevalent in Upper Egypt in what is today Aswan to the far South and into the Sudan.

Jews from Judea would not have intermingled with non Jews in communities that had no Jewish background for that matter .

BLM etc should spend afew minutes actually researching this stuff. Jesus probably was about 5'6" with an "olive" complexion with curly hair. St.Paul was probably a little taller and looked like Zorba the Greek because he was from further North.

Probably more accurate than the traditional representations unless you accpt that Jesus had also been a member of the Essene sect that grew their hair long.
