Wow you really suck at understanding mental health. But please continue to act like a badass on the internet

A badass by saying I don't feel the need to rampage about being "bullied" as an adult?

That's not it.
We can all remember that one boy in school that was unmercifully bullied.
Or that one girl that had horrible lies spread around the schoolyard about her by the mean girls.
That kind of bullying does lasting damage.

I’m an operator at a small process plant with 24 total operators. I get bullied at work more than I ever did in school. The shite we say to one another would break the average man.

I love my job.

Rite of passage in the 40s, 50s, 60s and probably before but I didn't come along until 40s. My brothers bullied me, kids at school, after school, on weekends. Picked on might be the better term but when you're on the short end of the stick words interchange.

I actually think it was healthy. You learned to beware, watch your mouth, avoid trouble, knowing you'd get your arse kicked. My brothers could kick my arse but no one else better or they'd take up for me.

We bullied those younger than us. Again, rite of passage.

Kids today are soft. Daddy always said until you tasted blood in your mouth you hadn't learned a hard lesson. Avoid trouble, don't start shite, but if anyone says they are about to whip your arse, prove to them they waited too damn late to start.

Youngsters today are pussies mainly because their parents are pussies. Everyone gets a trophy so Alfonse won't get his fricking feelings hurt.

Happened twice one kid ended up stabbing himself in the leg with my pencil while trying to kick me under my desk. The other was throwing small pebbles rocks at the back of my head and I threw one big one and connected. Looking back they were probably bad decisions on my part but the problems got solved.

I was bullied a bit, but the next day I took care of it. I caught him in the stairway and well, it never happened again. I have 3 sons and they are tall so they were not bullied much. The 2 younger ones were a little bit. One day in the lunch room my middle son had had enough. He chose a metal tray that day and walked up behind the "bully" while he was eating and hit him square in the ear with the tray...food went flying, the bully went down crying like a baby. That took care of that. Nobody saw a thing. My youngest used to be the practice dummy for his oldest brother when he was taking martial arts. When the "baby" wen to the middle school some older boys tried to take his money in the bathroom. Baby Gage flipped his arse on the bathroom floor and...well that took care of that. I always told them if you need to take care of something and get in trouble I'll stand by you. We lived in Mandeville in the mid to late 1990's. One day my oldest son had an incident on the bus on the way to school, he told his mom and me about it and I told him to handle it the next day. My wife went nuts, so I called the principal and told him he could handle it or my son would, but it was ending the next day. The principal handled it. Basically, bullies are cowards and will back down from an arse beating.

Nah, in elementary school I hung out with the older kids. Made me tough. I stood up for kids who were "bullied" though

Occasionally, sure. I don't have any amazing stories of beating them bloody or breaking any noses but I always fought back. Got my arse kicked a lot of the time but they moved along to easier prey.

The only 'bullying' memories that actually bother me are the times that I was the bully.
