If they didn’t want to catch covid potentially they shouldn’t have been traveling anywhere. The only way to mitigate their risk is to never leave the house .
And again if they were masked properly and vaccinated, why should they be worried anyway?

I remember having to show vax records to eat in certain restaurants. I got downvoted for mentioning and showing a picture of my faked vax cards.

And honestly, it didn’t protect anyone from getting it.
Showing you were vaccinated didn’t make the restaurant some covid free zone at all.
It was all theater . All of it
The restaurants building outside seating with walls bc you could let eat inside but you could eat outside covered up bc it’s technically inside outside .

Yes setting conditions to return during a pandemic is completely legal and constitutional.
The constitution doesn’t govern your perceived rights. It outlines the actual rights and rules that govern them. Until there is an amendment granting you to enter and exit the country freely, it’s not addressed in the constitution.
