Went to the Mall of Louisiana Saturday

kid just had to go there to try on clothes. I dreaded going there so much but we were able to drive right in, find parking spot by Main Event. Went in the mall, everyone was polite, didn't get hassled by kiosk creeps. Kid found all she wanted in only 2 stores and we were gone. Spent 45 minutes tops.
Now, on our way out the traffic was now backed up onto the interstate. Guess since it was a dreary rainy day most people slept in but our experience at the mall was nothing like the horror stories told here.

I was under the impression from this board that the mall was overrun by thugs and the final boss was the Israeli kiosk women

I was there on Saturday as well, the thought of making a pointless thread describing it had not crossed my mind though

Let this be a lesson to you when it comes to having complete trust in the OT when it comes to mall related takes. Not to say that the mall has always been great, but my experiences there have mostly been fine myself. I always kept a far enough distance from the kiosk people to where they’d couldn’t ask me anything if I walked by.

Everyone goes to the mall on Christmas. Trying going after 6 on a regular week/weekend night

I go in that mall all of the time and it's fine. I'm sure the crowd might be a little different at 8pm on a Saturday when I'm very unlikely to be there. I've been to the Main Event also and it was fine too.

I was there Saturday too. It reminded me of what malls in the 80s looked like all year. I even went looking for a Space Port, Chess king, Orange Julius, Gadzooks, Merry-Go-Round and Camelot Music with no luck.

I went to the mall yesterday, a little old lady cut me off and flipped me the bird, some mom put her kids dirty diaper under the car next to her, some young future engineers we're blasting holy music while sitting on the trunk of their car, once inside I was sprayed with 20 different perfumes, had two attempted pick picking, and as I left someone decided to point a gun at me for my chick-fil-a sandwich.
