Any paramedic who tested positive and ignored it should be fired on the spot. Your mom could sue the shite out of her and her company and would win with ease

Hopefully your mom is ok.

Yes that paramedic is stupid AF.

I am definitely a "let it ride" guy. But, the data is clear. Older ppl are at risk.
If you tested positive, stay the frick away from them.

Same for flu.
If I get flu, I'm staying in and definitely away from old people.

Our healthcare workers are some of the least hygienic people in America. If I walked around in my job’s equivalent of dress scrubs, I’d smell like motor oil.

Yeah but you’re not a hero and you don’t work all the time like nurses do and motor oil is icky

Now do you see why it’s ok for nurses to wear their work clothes to the restaurant and not you?

Yes, but they were evidently not interacting with the people that were attending the gathering. From what my mom told me, it was about 20 people who was invited.

The grandson's friends/neighbors were outside in the back yard drinking and shooting the shite, but when someone had to go to the bathroom, they had to pass through wherever they were having the gathering or whatever... And on several occasions, evidently people from outside ended up stopping and talking to the people inside and the paramedic girl, who know's the grandson's mom, had stopped a few times to talk with her..

If holding a couple minute conversation infected half a room we’d all have had it by now

A person can be smart but people are stupid as shite.

A guy at the neighborhood pub (I sit outside) was at the bar, elbow to elbow with others when he started talking about how the virus is overblown. He apparently was pissed because his work won't let him in the office since he tested positive last Wednesday but he feels fine.

She started feeling bad Monday. I talked to her yesterday and she told me she thought she would have started feeling better by now, but she was feeling just as bad as she did earlier in the week.

She said that one day last week she woke up feeling a little bit better. She at least had some energy and she thought she was getting better, but it only lasted for about a half of day. She has no appetite, no taste, really bad headaches and absolutely no energy.

Regardless of your stance on this current situation..... if you test positive you need to do the right thing and isolate for at least a few days. What’s even more ridiculous about this is that she willingly put herself around elderly people.

She wasn't on the job and assuming she went get tested on her own, she could have not told her employer about it.

I asked her how the frick does a paramedic test positive and be as irresponsible as she was. As well as if she was working while being positive. She had no clue, she was just told that the girlfriend of someone, who was a paramedic, had tested positive about a week earlier and that she was there and the one who had stopped to talk to the grandson's mom, a few times.

but that paramedic chick is a fricking idiot and you would think a paramedic would be more responsible

Why don’t you take any responsibility? Knowing that this is going around you willingly went to the same party as everyone else. You are just as responsible.

If you want, I will take the risk, go to my mom's house and facetime you. Maybe if she feels better she will even tell you the situation herself.

You stupid frick, if I made up a story it would be about my mom getting sick. If I ask if you think I am that big of an idiot, I am sure you will say yes, but take it how you want, I would not make up a story that includes my mom being sick you frick up.
