Went Get Tested For Covid After Being Around Someone Who Tested Positive

Last week my mom called me and told me I should go get tested for COVID because I was around her the week before and she had just tested positive.

She is still pretty sick and has been for about a week. Yes she is old, she is 73, but she is healthy and a really active person.

But she likely got it from a, what was supposed to be a small birthday party for someone who turned 82 (which was stupid within itself).

The gathering was at the 82 year old grandson's house. At some point some of the grandson's friends and neighbors came over. A few days later the grandson's mom had to call everyone who attended to tell them that one of the grandson's friends, girlfriend, who is a paramedic, had tested + and because she didn't feel bad or anything, ignored it.

9 people from the gathering ended up testing positive. Two of them are in the hospital. One of them (my mom) is really sick and I don't know about the others, but that paramedic chick is a fricking idiot and you would think a paramedic would be more responsible (maybe not, I am sure some of them think they know all things when it comes to health, but when in reality they really only know what they have experienced which in their mind is, is the gospel).

It is hard to not think about whether or not she informed her employers and has been working although she tested positive. At the very least, she should wear a fricking mask.
