Mail, pamphlets, books, magazines, etc.
I'm an easy target to be killed by anthrax. I will take books and mail from people's hands to smell before they can read it.

The smell of burning dust (or whatever it is) when you turn on your house heater for the first few times in the winter. It reminds me of my childhood and how much I loved winter, because winter starting means Christmas is coming.
