You'll notice some specs all throughout Virginia. That's because Virginia has Independent Cities which function exactly as if they were their own county.

Being Catholic in Alabama was also considered an oddity. As a kid you were:
Baptist
Methodist
Baptist-light
Alt-Baptist


If someone said they were Jewish and the person next to them said they were Catholic, you would have two rare creatures in the wild beside each other at the same time.
