much much bigger than that guy, bald, ugly and chewed tobacco and had stains on the sides of his mouth from it.

I also live in a cul-de sac with only a eight houses. Two are for sale and two have been empty since the storm. (one empty one is in horrible shape but the owner is a Jefferson Parish government official so code enforcement don't mess with him.)

It's a reference to the movie The Burbs with Tom Hanks.

They have an old guy that lives down the street from me that wears short shorts, flip flops and no shirt almost everyday. He sits on the sidewalk in a lawn chair watching traffic. He even eats all his meals out there on a tv tray. He's out there all day everyday unless it rains.

I have been in my house for 8 years...on one side is a perfectly normal family...in the 8 years I have been here, I have not seen who lives in the house on the other side a single time...

I am not sure how I could not see them, but I have never laid eyes on a single one of these folks...

I bought a house that is not in a neighborhood. It is on a two lane road. Both neighbors came over to welcome us to the neighborhood.

Can't really beat that, but when we lived in Round Rock there was this weird arse kid in the neighboirhood. We moved out and two years later he killed a girl that moved into our house.

There's a memorial at C.D. Fulkes Middle School in Round Rock dedicated to Kelly Brumbelow. She was just 13-years old in 1989 when her friend, neighbor and classmate, Terrance Sampson, stabbed her 97 times.
Now, Sampson is once again eligible for parole.
Kelly Brumbelow's family says she was athletically and academically gifted and was always looking to make people laugh. Kelly was murdered on December 2, 1989. Investigators say Terrance Sampson, who was just 12-years old at the time and lived next door, stabbed Kelly 97 times in the head and face. Kelly's mother, Judy, says Sampson had called Kelly on the phone and asked her to come over so he could show her something.
"And when she ran over to the front door to see what it was he wanted to show her, he grabbed her and pulled her inside and that's when he started stabbing her to death," said Judy Brumbelow, the victim's mother.

Wroxton Way, in Round rock in the cul-de-sac part. Forgot the house number. I went there last year with my Mom to recreate a 30 year old picture. Old neighbor told me all about the murder.
