Some guys from U Club were there the other day commenting on how true the greens were.

They have a reciprocity deal with Webb, I believe. As does West Side Golf and Country Club in Brusly.

That's pretty much it, pro at LaTour or CCL can't get me on there, my Squire Creek hookup told me keep dreaming, he wasn't wasting a long distance phone call.

One of my favorite golf memories is making Birdie from the water hazard on # 16 (concrete ditch).

I enjoy playing it for cheap practice, but the apartment complexes lining the course are definitely sketchy as hell.

I hit a car on #2.
Smoked one over the green. one hopped off the street and drilled the side of the car. they went to the clubhouse. Not sure if anythign happen though.

Webb really is a pretty decent course, especially for the price.
The only thing i dont' like about it is the multitude of old dudes walking.

That's where I learned to play. I wanted to go where I wouldn't embarrass myself. Place is a dump but holds lots of memories for me. Must have 30 rounds under my belt there.

I've called it this forever. Mom used to drop us off when we were 10 and for five bucks I'd walk 18 and have enough for a couple of cokes and bags of chips. Grew up playing it and Sherwood Forest. I got hit by a car running the red light at College and so far my only ride in an ambulance. Memories. I might go play it just because of this thread. Probably walked 100 rounds there.

In all seriousness, I read somewhere that one of BREC's projects for 2016-2017 is to implement a driving range at Webb.

Not sure where the heck they plan on putting, but any additional public driving range for this area will be very much welcomed.

Its a fricking bitch.

That fricker slays me every time.

Impossible to hit it in regulation.

Dead left, massive bunker in the front, huge sloping green from back to front, elevated green, the ole bitch has it all.

Uh, you haven't lived till you have spent some time out at Howell. Back in college I could twilight walk there for like $3.50. The same ditch is a water feature of like 7 holes.

I hear the Zurich Classic is moving their qualifier from English Turn to Webble Beach next year. That should tell you something about the course.

USGA Reps will be there during the qualifier to evaluate its bid for the 2025 US Open.

Been a few years since I played there, but surely we're not talking about the 100 yard par 3.

There's no such thing as a hard 100 yard hole.

I'll assume that's sarcasm.

#7 Pebble Beach had a scoring average above par last year during the AT&T.

They finally removed the oak that blocked the front right side of the green.
